Acumen has updated our medicine training course from a 4-hour course to a 6-hour course to meet the NEW Florida standards for Assistance with self-administered medication training.

A Medication Tech is an unlicensed individual who assist with medications in an adult care homes, assistant living facility and group homes.  This includes oral medication (pills or liquid), eye and ear drops, ointments, sub-lingual, nasal, trans-dermal, inhalants, insulin pens, colostomy care and more.  

Florida Med Techs do not work in hospitals & do not need to be a C.N.A in the state of Florida to be certified as a Med Tech.  You must pass the exams that are given throughout the class in order to receive your FL Assistance With Self-Administered Medication Certification at the end of the course.  

This course last for 1 day, 6 hours only!  There’s a $40 fee due upfront to reserve a seat for the “Med Tech / Med Pass” course & the remaining of $35 must be paid on or before the start date of the course. ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND ARE  NON-TRANSFERRABLE PLEASE CHECK YOUR SCHEDULE BEFORE REGISTERING!
